Watch out for pirates when the world-famous Brighouse and Rastrick Band comes to town for the ever-popular Royal Hall Christmas Concerts on Saturday 19 December!
The award-winning musicians join forces with us for a spectacular programme of seasonal favourites, breathtaking arrangements and festive carols – and this year there’s a musical twist when Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer meets up with the Pirates of Penzance in a musical medley for all the family!
The Royal Hall Christmas Concert with the Brighouse and Rastrick Band has gone on from strength to strength to become a firm favourite in Harrogate’s Christmas calendar. This year, there are two concerts to choose from - with performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. And for the first time this year, to encourage a family audience, at both concerts there are free tickets for children 16 and under when accompanied by an adult.

Next year’s major production will be The Pirates of Penzance at the Harrogate Theatre in May, which is why one or two Pirate tunes, and one or two Pirates themselves, might make an appearance in the festive musical mix designed to put you firmly in the Christmas mood.
